Jenna began her teaching career in 2007 after graduating from Greensboro College. She's taught in both public and independent school settings, spanning grades 3-7 and various subject areas, all while coaching varsity lacrosse. Jenna earned her M.Ed. in Reading Education from UNCG in 2012, the same year she married her husband, Jason. She and Jason have two active kids and a dog. Her career transition to coaching educators and delivering professional development to schools around the country allowed her to expand her knowledge of best practices within education. Her experiences as a parent, a teacher, and an instructional coach influenced her to develop Arboro Empowered, a place where quality support and resources are easy to find and imperfection is embraced.
